The goal
Lingo Connect aimed to make language learning effortless and engaging by integrating dual subtitles, instant word meanings, and personalized sentence collections into a Chrome extension. They sought a balance between functionality and visual appeal, ensuring users could learn without detracting from their entertainment experience.
The challenge, and how we solved it
The main challenge was designing a user interface that harmonized the educational aspects of the extension with a visually engaging experience. Lingo Connect needed an intuitive, unobtrusive design to seamlessly incorporate dual subtitles, word meanings, and collections without overwhelming the user. Studio 1642 collaborated closely with language educators, developers, and UI/UX experts to create a functional yet elegant solution that makes learning enjoyable and unobtrusive.
